ABOUT ANISSA JONES
Played Buffy on the CBS sitcom Family Affair and tragically died from a drug overdose when she was eighteen.
She appeared in a commercial when she was six years old. In 1966, she was first recognized by television producers Edmund Beloin and Harry Garson, who were still preparing the show Family Affair when they realized that Anissa would be a perfect fit for the Elizabeth "Buffy" character. Buffy's doll in the show, Mrs. Beasley, would later become the best-selling doll in America.
She auditioned for The Exorcist but was turned down for her prior role in Family Affair.
She was born to parents John and Mary. She had a brother named Paul.
She played Carol Bix on The Trouble with Girls, starring Elvis Presley .
