Actress of stage and screen who portrayed Mary Hodgson in the 1978 BBC docudrama The Lost Boys.
She studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
She appeared on TV shows such as Emergency Ward 10, Midsomer Murders, and three episodes of the British soap opera Coronation Street.
She married actor and Coronation Street co-star William Roache in 1961, though they divorced in 1974. They had two children.
Her son is actor Linus Roache .
