ABOUT ANNA JOYCE VELOSO DE CASTRO
Kizomba singer and songwriter most known by her 2015 single "Combina" which has been streamed over 1 million times on her official Anna Joyce Spotify profile. She received her first professional music contract as a teenager. Due to her prominence, she has gained just over 1.5 million followers on her annajoyce___ Instagram account.
She first began singing as a young child. In fact, at the age of 10, she first started writing and composing songs.
In March 2011, at only the age of 23, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Ten years later, she released her debut self-titled album, Anna, on Spotify in August 2021.
Growing up in Luanda, Angola, she lived with her parents and her siblings. She is the youngest of six siblings. At a young age, she became influenced by music because of her older sister named Tânia.
She shares a May 29th birthday with fellow musicians Mel B and La Toya Jackson .
