Film actress and producer known primarily for appearing in the films Dances with Wolves , The Postman and The Baby-Sitters Club . In 2017, her project titled The Discarded: A Tale of Two Rios was nominated for Best Documentary Short Film at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

She began her professional acting career in 1990.

She is the first born child of Cindy and Kevin Costner .

She lives with her husband, Danny, and their children.

She acted alongside her father and Mary McDonnell in the 1990 film Dances with Wolves.
