ABOUT ANTHONY MISIEWICZ

Southpaw pitcher that was drafted by the Seattle Mariners during the 18th round of the 2015 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Kansas City Royals via trade in August 2022. He has also pitched in the Tampa Bay Rays farm system.

He began his professional career playing for the Everett AquaSox. Prior to being drafted, he attended Michigan State University .

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Houston Astros on July 24, 2020, as a member of the Mariners. During his rookie season, he recorded scoreless innings in 14 of his 21 appearances.

Although he was born in Detroit, Michigan he grew up living with his family in Chesterfield, Michigan.

He was once packaged in a trade that included Luis Rengifo .
