ABOUT ANTHONY SIMMONS
Former NFL linebacker and athlete that played for the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints during his seven-year career. In the year 1998, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. While playing for the Seahawks, he led his team in tackles three different seasons.
He was a Consensus All-American while at Clemson University . While there, he was also a three-time member of the first team All-ACC.
He played in exactly 87 games during his NFL career. During that time span, he recorded 450 career solo tackles. He stands an even 6'0" tall and weighs over 240 pounds. Simmons ran a 4.28 and a 4.34 forty-yard dash for scout Larry Greenlee.
He is a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina.
He was selected during the 1998 NFL draft just like Peyton Manning and Randy Moss .
