ABOUT ANTIPAS MBUSA NYAMWISI

Former rebel leader of the DR Congo, a Foreign Minister from 2007 to 2008 and Minister of Decentralization and Urban and Regional Planning from 2008 to 2011.

He took over the Rally for Congolese Democracy-Kisangani from dia Wamba, and renamed it RCD-K-Movement of Liberation.

He was going to run for DR Congo's 2006 presidential election, but backed out in support of President Joseph Kabila.

His father fought with the Rally for Congolese Democracy in the Second Congo War.
