Guard who played for five teams during his 10-year NBA career.

He played college basketball at the University of Minnesota after leaving the Army.

He earned the nickname Shake and Bake because of his quick dribbling skills.

He raised eight children and had six grandchildren.

He helped to set up the National Basketball Retired Players Association along with Hall of Fame center Dave Cowens .
