ABOUT ARGENIS CARRUYO
Latin and salsa singer who is also known as El Volcán de América or the Volcano of America. He is best known for the track "Mix Blanco #12: Te Quiero/Otra Vez Me Enamore/Apretaito." His other popular singles include "Madre," and "Homenaje Zulianidad (En Vivo)."
At age 12, he was hired as an instrument picker.
In 1973, he joined Súper Combo Los Tropicales. In 1977, he started performing with Dimensión Latina. He later joined the group Los Melódicos.
He is from Venezuela.
His song, "Se Necesita Rumbero - Homenaje an Oscar d'Leon y la Critica," pays homage to Óscar D'Leon and his band.
