ABOUT ARSHAD ZAMI

Filipino-Malaysian chef best known as the winner of MasterChef Malaysia All-Star in 2014. He was a semi-finalist on the first season of MasterChef Malaysia in 2011.

He studied at Taylor's University in Malaysia.

On MasterChef, he prepared a dessert named "My Final." The dish was pandan mousse, custard and butterscotch sauce served with cake.

His siblings convinced him to enter MasterChef. His parents wanted him to pursue a career as an engineer.

He is one of many famous Malaysian-born chefs, including Poh Ling Yeow .
