Actor who has appeared in films such as 2021's The Dig , and TV shows such as Cold Courage, Ackley Bridge and Doctor Who . He has been outspoken about the challenges faced by British Asian actors, and the fight against racial typecasting.

He is a graduate of the University of Essex' East 15 Acting School.

His first television role was in season ten of Trial & Retribution.

He is married to actress Roxy Shahidi , and they have a daughter. He has a pet German Shepherd.

He appeared in two episodes of the 2015 season of Doctor Who, co-starring Peter Capaldi as the Doctor.
