Second Baron Hazlerigg who was a captain for Leicestershire in the 1930s.
He attended Trinity College, where he was a very successful cricketer.
His cricket career was broken up by World War II, when he served in four countries.
He married Patricia Pullar, and had three children with her.
He is one of many notable captains in Leicestershire history, along with players such as David Gower .
