ABOUT ARTHUR VERMEEREN

Belgian midfielder who debuted professionally for Royal Antwerp in the 2022-23 UEFA Europa Conference League. He went on to win the 2023 Belgian Cup final with Royal Antwerp. He made his senior debut for Belgium in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.

He played for Royal Antwerp at the youth level from the years 2018 to 2022.

He was praised by coach Mark Vanbommel after his debut for Royal Antwerp. On October 13, 2023, he made his debut for the senior Belgium national team, coming off the bench in the 87th minute to substitute Johan Bakayoko, in a 3-2 away win over Austria during the Euro 2024 qualifying. He stands 5'9" tall.

He is from Lier, Belgium.

He and Ritchie De Laet have played together for Royal Antwerp.
