Businessperson and filmmaker known as the daughter of politician Ilham Aliyev . He was the president of Azerbaijan.

She attended high school in Baku. She was also educated in Switzerland and Great Britain.

She produced the 2015 documentary Objective: Baku. Hitler's War On Oil and the 2018 documentary Son Iclas.

In 2011, she married Samed Gurbanov. They have children named Aydin and Aziza.

She and Jenna Bush Hager both became famous as family of world leaders.
