ABOUT ASHEN BANDARA

Middle-order batter bowling a right-arm leg break who began playing with the Sri Lanka cricket team in 2021. He has played with the domestic teams Dambulla Viiking, Jaffna Kings, Kandy Falcons, and Galle.

He started his professional career in 2018 with the domestic Sri Lanka team Galle.

He won a silver medal with Sri Lanka at the 2019 South Asian Games. He is the fifth Sri Lankan batsman to have recorded maiden half-century in the first ODI against the WI.

He is from Galle, Sri Lanka.

He has been teammates with Wanidu Hasaranga .
