ABOUT ASMUNDUR SVEINSSON
Icelandic sculptor from Kolsstadir in West Iceland.
He enrolled in the Technical College of Iceland and apprenticed with sculptor Ríkarður Jónsson.
He moved to Paris after graduating from school and continued to study and work.
He married sculptor Gunnfríður Jónsdóttir in 1924.
He and Magnus Scheving are both from Iceland.
