ABOUT ASSAN OUéDRAOGO

Soccer player and athlete who is best known for playing with FC Schalke 04 . At the young age of 17 years and 80 days old, he became Schalke's youngest-ever player in the year 2023. The same year, he was part of the U17 Germany squad that won the World Cup.

At age eight, he was drafted into Schalke's renowned Knappenschmiede academy.

He suffered injuries such as hamstring issues and a syndesmotic ligament tear. A box-to-box midfielder, Ouédraogo is capable of using both feet, and is lauded for his dribbling, creativity and goal-scoring ability. He is quite tall for his age, standing at six feet, four inches.

His father is named Alassane Ouédraogo. Both his father and uncle were professional soccer players.

He, Jens Lehmann , and Joel Matip all played for Schalke.
