ABOUT AXEL KUSCHEVATZKY

Movie producer, screenwriter, and a journalist specializing in film journalism. He is the head of film development and production at Telefe, a major national channel in Argentina. Since 1995, he has been the editor and publisher of La Cosa, the longest running Spanish movie magazine.

He studied advertising in school, but came to TV as a teenager when he was a contestant on an Argentinian quiz show, answering questions about horror films.

He was elected President of Argentina's Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences in November 2016.

He married Patricia Alejandra Molina in 2005. Together they have a son and a daughter. His brother is composer Eric Claus Kuschevatzky.

The first film he produced was The Secrets In Their Eyes, starring Soledad Villamil and Ricardo Darin .
