ABOUT AYASE UEDA

Veteran center-forward and striker that originally signed his first professional club contract with the Japanese J1 League squad the Kashima Antlers in the year 2019. Since then, he has played soccer professionally in countries such as Japan, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

As a young kid, he played for the Kashima Antlers youth squad. He later began playing soccer at Kashima Gakuen High School and Hosei University.

He scored his very first international goal for Team Japan while playing against El Salvador during the 2023 Kirin Challenge Cup. He and Team Japan won the match with a score of 6-0. He has also played for the Japanese men's national team.

He grew up living with his family in Mito, Japan.

He has played alongside Wataru Endō as a member of the Japanese men's national team during his professional career.
