She traveled the world in an effort to gain traction in her career, living in Sydney, Australia, for two years, as well as Miami Beach, Milan, Munich, Dubai, Tokyo, and Singapore.
She founded Unique Model Management Costa Rica, the first internationally-recognized modeling agency in Costa Rica.
Her mother, Barbara Bonilla, was formerly Miss Costa Rica.
