ABOUT BAMBA DIENG

Senegalese forward that was signed by the France-based Olympique de Marseille football club in October 2020. He has also made appearances as a member of the Senegalese men's national team. During the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations championship match, he scored the game-winning goal in the penalty shootout.

He began his soccer career playing for the ASC SUNEOR youth squad. He played there from ages ten to 14.

He made his official international debut during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Qatar. He and his team defeated the Namibian men's national team 4-1.

He grew up living with his family in Pikine, Senegal. In 2010, he moved to Diourbel.

He played with Dimitri Payet and Arkadiusz Milik as a member of Olympique de Marseille during the 2022 club season.
