Mother of Whitney Way Thore , the star of My Big Fat Fabulous Life. She appeared in two episodes of the show, one of which was a live interview-based episode. In season ten of the show, her son found her on the couch at home unable to speak, leading to the diagnosis that she suffered a stroke.
She first appeared on the show on November 25, 2015.
On June 22, 2022, her daughter shared a photo of her in honor of her 76th birthday. She and her family go on cruises annually and document the experience.
She and her husband had two children. She has been married to her husband, Glen, for over 40 years.
She and her son, Hunter Thore , star in My Big Fat Fabulous Life.
