ABOUT BARBRA BANDA

Prolific goal scorer, athlete, and team captain of the Zambian women's national team. As a member of Team Zambia, she led her team to a COSAFA Women's Championship in the year 2022. She primarily plays the position of forward. She stands five feet, ten inches tall.

She first began her professional soccer career with the Green Buffaloes Football Club in the year 2016. She was just 16 years old at the time.

After scoring six goals in the 2020 Summer Olympics, she became Zambia and Africa's all-time leader for goals scored by a woman during the Olympics. A few years later, she was named the "IFFHS World's Best International Goal Scorer" in the year 2023.

She grew up living with her family in  Lusaka, Zambia.

She credits Cristiano Ronaldo as being one of her biggest soccer influences.
