ABOUT BARRET OLIVER
Photographer and former child actor who played Bastian Balthazar Bux in the 1984 fantasy film, The NeverEnding Story. His last on-screen role was in the 1989 film Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills.
He had minor television roles until starring as Bastian in the film adaptation of Michael Ende's novel, The NeverEnding Story.
He played roles in D.A.R.Y.L., Cocoon, and Cocoon: The Return. He was at some point a member of Scientology.
His brother is Kyle Oliver, and his parents are Kent and Kathy Oliver.
He was cast as the lead in director Tim Burton 's film, Frankenweenie.
