ABOUT BARRY CORR
Irish striker who joined Southend United in 2010 after spending a season with Exeter City. He helped Southend United finish runner-up for the Football League Trophy in 2013.
He spent his youth career with Leeds United.
His senior career began with Sheffield Wednesday in 2005, during which time he was loaned to Bristol City and Swindon Town. He ended up staying with Swindon Town from 2007 until 2009.
He was born in Newcastle, Ireland.
He and fellow striker Peter Crouch were often compared to each other.
