Senegalese politician associated with the Socialist Party and the Liberate the People political coalition. He was elected mayor of Dakar in 2022. In September of the same year, he was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. He was charged with shooting a man involved in a group attacking the town hall of Mermoz, Sacré-Coeur in Dakar.
