ABOUT BASHAR ALSHATTI

Kuwaiti singer, actor, and musician. He is known for appearing on the singing competition TV show Star Academy. Since 2005, he has released the albums Bashar Al-Shatti, Thany Marra, and Akwa Men El Awal.

He rose to fame after it was rumored he was dating a fellow contestant on Star Academy.

He has been outspoken about his discontent regarding the Syrian Civil War. He got his start singing with choirs on albums and in concert. He has also worked on commercial advertisements throughout his career.

He is married and has one son.
