Beatriz Stix-Brunell

ABOUT BEATRIZ STIX-BRUNELL

Ballerina who has been a soloist with The Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House in London. She has won praise for her performances in productions like The Prince of the Pagodas, Sleeping Beauty and La Bayadère.

She studied at the School of American Ballet in New York City until 2005.

She was nominated for Outstanding Female Performance (Classical) at the 2012 Critics' Circle National Dance Awards.

Her parents encouraged her to finish high school before pursing ballet professionally.

She was invited by Christopher Wheeldon to join his dance company, Morphoses.
