After rising to fame as a contestant on the reality television show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus, this Filipina television personality began a career as an actress, starring as Alex Sta. Maria in Dream Dad and acting in numerous other ABS-CBN series.

She attended the St. Louis School-Don Bosco and Silliman University. She was crowned Miss Teen Philippines-Central Visayas in 2006.

In late 2014, she was photographed for the Filipino edition of the British men's magazine FHM. Among her tips on maintaining her good looks, she accredits drinking water, doing lots of yoga, and getting plenty of rest.

Born Christine Marie Gonzalez, she spent her youth in Dumaguete City, Philippines. She is married to art curator Norman Crisologo. They got married in 2017, and had their first daughter, Olivia, in 2016.

She and Vina Morales both appeared on the television series Maria Mercedes.
