ABOUT BELLE BOYD
Known as "Cleopatra of the Secession", she was a Confederate spy in the American Civil War who operated out of Virginia.
She was educated at the Mount Washington Female College at Baltimore.
Before becoming a spy for the Confederate army she shot and killed a Union soldier for cursing at her mother.
Her father operated a hotel in Front Royal, Virginia.
She fed information about the Union Army to Confederate General Stonewall Jackson .
