He graduated from Blue Valley Southwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
He was promoted from Single-A Columbia to High-A Quad Cities in July of 2023. He throws a 93 mph fastball. He stands 6'3" and weighs 195 pounds.
His mother's name is Wendy. He has two sisters.
Upon being drafted to the Royals, he entered the same organization as fellow pitcher Zack Greinke .
