ABOUT BEN THOUARD

Photographer who is known for his ocean and sea based works. Often of surfing swells and wildlife, he shares his photos through his self-titled website and Instagram for his over 340,000 followers.

He first discovered photography at the age of 15 and went on to further his studies in Paris. He moved to Tahiti at 22 where he excelled at his surfing based photos.

He is also known for having released his own ocean photography book entitled Surface.

He was born and raised in the south of France to a father who was a sailor.

He shared a photo he took of professional surfer Francisco Porcella to his Instagram in December of 2018.
