ABOUT BENITO JONES

Professional defensive lineman that was first signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He was later acquired by the Detroit Lions via waivers in August 2022.

He previously played college football at the University of Mississippi . Following his 2019 season at Ole Miss, he was named a member of the second team All-SEC.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the New York Jets during week six of the 2020 regular season. He played in six games as a rookie with the Dolphins that season.

He grew up living with his family in the Waynesboro, Mississippi area.

He is a former Ole Miss collegiate athlete just like Eli Manning and D.K. Metcalf .
