American journalist who has gained fame as a policy editor and political reporter for NBC News. He has also worked for TPM Media, The Daily Beast, and The New York Sun.

He studied political science at Vassar College from 2003 to 2007.

In 2017, he received an award from the New York Press Club for his work on the 2016 series "United States of Trump."

He was born in New York City and later moved to Washington, D.C.

He has co-authored articles with Chuck Todd and Mark Murray .
