ABOUT BENNY BEHANAN
Indian National Congress Party member and one-time Indian congressional representative of the Thrikkakara constituency. For nearly two decades, he also served as the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee's General Secretary.
Early in his political career, he headed the Kerala Students Union and served on the Kerala State Legislative Assembly.
Beginning in 2006, he managed the Veekshanam Daily Newspaper.
The son of Chinnamma and O. Thomas Behanan, he grew up in the village of Vengola, Kerala, India.
Born in the same year as Behanan, Indian actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar also belonged to the Indian National Congress Party.
