Born Gilbert Milam Jr., he is a Mexican-American rapper with multiple albums that have charted on Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums" chart. He signed with Wiz Khalifa 's label Taylor Gang in 2012 after previously starting his own label called Bern One Entertainment in 2007.

He is a high school dropout, but began battle rapping while still in school. He made his debut in 2006 with a mixtape called Dirty Sneakers.

He ran a marijuana club between the ages of 18 and 25. He opened several marijuana dispensaries and began producing a TV series called Marijuana Mania.

His father was a chef at a Mexican restaurant and his mother was an office worker.

His single "Best Thang Smokin" featured Snoop Dogg , Wiz Khalifa , and B-Real .
