ABOUT BERTIE AULD

Midfielder who played his senior career from 1955 to 1973, most notably for Celtic FC; member of Scotland's national team in 1959.

He played youth soccer at Maryhill Harp, where he was converted from a fullback to a midfielder.

After retirement, he served as a manager for a number of teams from 1974 to 1988.

He was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland.

He and Alex Ferguson are both members of the Scottish Football Hall of Fame.
