British singer and songwriter who released a UK Top 5 hit single called Promise Me in 1991 and has sold more than 4 million records worldwide.
She started taking piano lessons when she was seven years old and performed in various local bands while attending college in London.
She sang lead vocals on the 1999 song The Very Last Time on Alan Parsons album The Time Machine.
She married singer Colin Campsie and the couple has three daughters.
She worked with Cat Stevens ' former producer, Paul Samwell-Smith, on one of her albums.
