ABOUT BILL DUDLEY

Hall of fame running back, defensive back and kicker who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1940s and 1950s.

In his sophmore year at the University of Virginia, he was fifth back in the depth chart; by the following year he was leading the Southern Conference in yards.

He was a 2-time Pro Bowl selection and became a scout for the Steelers and the Lions after retirement.

Married Libba Leininger in 1947 and had three children with her.

He and O.J. Simpson both won NFL Rushing Titles during their careers.
