ABOUT BILL WEGMAN

Right-handed pitcher known for having good control and fielding his position well; he pitched 11 years for the Milwaukee Brewers from 1985 to 1995.

He played baseball at Oak Hills High School in Ohio.

His best season came in 1991; he went 15-7 with a 2.84 ERA in 193.1 innings, winning the Hutch Award.

He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He held Hall-of-Fame right fielder Dave Winfield to a .238 career batting average against him.
