ABOUT BILLY MCKINNEY

Professional outfielder that was drafted by the Oakland Athletics during the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Los Angeles Dodgers via trade in July 2021. He has also played for the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates , among others.

He began his professional career playing for the Athletics' single-A affiliate team the Stockton Ports.

He recorded his first career major league hit facing Aaron Sanchez on March 30, 2018.

He is a native of Dallas, Texas.

He was once packaged in a trade that included Aroldis Chapman .
