ABOUT BLAKE LEEPER

Professional track athlete, Paralympian, and motivational speaker. He has competed in multiple Paralympics, is an eight-time medalist in the 200m and 400m events, and has held the world record in the 400m race twice.

He was born and raised in Tennessee with a congenital defect resulting in a double below-the-knee amputation at four years old. He graduated from the University of Tennessee.

He handed off the Paralympic flag to Los Angeles during the Paris 2024 closing ceremony. His Instagram is a place where he has shared his life on the track, his friendships and conversations with other athletes, and the work he does around the country to motivate young athletes.

He posted a video with his mom Liebra in May 2023 to prep for the next summer's Paralympics in 2024. He also has a daughter.

Reality star Nelson Thomas has commented on his posts before, offering support on training videos.
