ABOUT BOB CASEY JR. JR.

American senator of the state of Pennsylvania since 2007. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has also served in the positions of auditor general and State Treasurer. His official Twitter page has acrued amassed over 430,000 followers.

He received his J.D. from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. He began his political career in 1996 when he was elected auditor general.

He was Pennsylvania's first-ever Democrat to be elected into a third consecutive term in the Senate. In 2002, he attempted to run for governor of Pennsylvania but was unsuccessful.

His father Bob Casey Sr. was a former governor of Pennsylvania. He and his wife Terese have four daughters together.

He was preceded in office by Republican Rick Santorum whom he defeated in 2006.
