ABOUT BOB CONSIDINE

After co-writing the bestselling 1943 work Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, Considine collaborated with Babe Ruth on a 1948 biography of the legendary baseball player. His other works include The Maryknoll Story, Innocents at Home, and It's All News to Me.

After studying at George Washington University, he worked for the Washington Herald as a sports reporter, a features writer, and a theater reviewer.

During the World War II years, he became an International News Service correspondent.

He was born and raised in Washington, D.C.; he later settled in Westchester County, New York.

He and author Ted W. Lawson co-wrote Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, a non-fiction work that focuses on a famous World War II air raid led by Lieutenant Colonel James Doolittle .
