ABOUT BOB SUTER
Late hockey player best remembered for being a member of the legendary "Miracle on Ice" U.S. Olympic men's hockey team which upset the Soviet Union and ultimately took home the gold medal in 1980. He died of a heart attack at Capitol Ice Arena in September 2014.
He won the NCAA title as a member of the Wisconsin Badgers in 1977.
Despite his success at the collegiate and international level, he never played a single game in the NHL.
His son is NHL player Ryan Suter .
He was teammates with Ken Morrow on the "Miracle on Ice" U.S. Olympic men's hockey team of 1980.
