Professional infielder that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals with the second overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft. He was the number one ranked prospect in 2021, according to MLB Network. He was the first minor baseball player in Royals' history to hit 20+ homers and 20+ steals in a season since former World Series champion Alex Gordon .

He graduated from Colleyville Heritage High School in 2019. During his senior year of high school, he was named the Texas Gatorade Player of the Year and the Gatorade National Baseball Player of the Year.

He made his major league debut playing against the Cleveland Indians on April 7, 2022. He finished the game 1-4 with an RBI double.

His father, Bobby Sr, pitched for 16 seasons in the major leagues and won a World Series in 2001 as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks .

He recorded his first major league hit facing Triston McKenzie on April 7, 2022, at Kauffman Stadium.
