Social media personality who was badly wounded in the movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado which left 12 people dead in 2012. She has channeled the trauma of that experience into a positive outlook on life, which she displays on Instagram for more than 30,000 followers.
She grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was on a road trip with a friend when the pair decided to make a stop in Aurora.
Her engagement to her husband was captured in the short film Wildflower, which has been viewed more than 1 million times on YouTube.
She married filmmaker Max Zoghbi . She is the eldest of 7 siblings.
She was interviewed on The Steve Harvey Show in 2015.
