ABOUT BOWEN BYRAM

Canadian professional ice hockey player who has made a name for himself as a defenseman for the Colorado Avalanche . He joined the Avalanche for the 2020-21 NHL season. Prior to that, he had represented Canada in a number of junior ice hockey tournaments.

During his youth, he played for the Lethbridge Golden Hawks of the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League.

The Western Hockey League named him Rookie of the Year for the 2017-18 season. He is an avid recreational hunter.

His mother is Stacey Byram. His father, Shawn Byram, is a former ice hockey player who played five games in the National Hockey League.

He and Andre Burakovsky have played as teammates for the Colorado Avalanche.
