An elective drama class that he took at Loyola University helped him discover his love of acting. He was previously looking at pursuing athletics.

Aside from acting, he served as a real estate agent in the Los Angeles area.

He was born William Bram Hoover in Corbin, Kentucky.

He was directed by Dylan Baker while filming 23 Blast.
