Former first baseman that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the 12th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He was later acquired by the Chicago White Sox via trade in June 2016.

He began his professional baseball career playing for the Royals' rookie affiliate team the AZL Royals.
